Two For One

Ok, I'll admit. I've been a tad bit lazy lately when it comes to posts. BUT I'm going to make it up for you right now by revising TWO MOVIES IN ONE POST!!! Man what a steal, right?

So first things first.

I watched another movie from "The Book" putting me at 71 out of 1001 Movies I Must Watch Before I Die! That's 7% of the movies from "The Book"! I'm making great progress, huh?

Last movie I watched was Clueless. I gave it two stars in case you were wondering, which you were, I'm sure.

Here's a few reasons I thought this movie was just, OK.
First off, it's a total wannabe Mean Girls. (I say this ironically since Clueless was made almost 10 years before Mean Girls came out.) Second, it stars Kathy Griffiths who is a self-proclaimed D-List Star. Third, the main character acts like a whiny baby for most of the movie before falling in love with her MUCH OLDER STEP-BROTHER. According to "The Book" this movie is supposed to be a modern-day take on Jane Austen's novel, Emma, but it is a very LOOSE translation of it. It's mainly the whole falling for your step-brother thing. Anyways, the acting was second-rate at best and the storyline was simple and semi-predictable. I will say the music was fantabulous though, but that's expected from any 90s movie. I probably could have lived without ever seeing this movie, but now I can tell everyone that I watch Clueless and survived to tell the tale. Take that.

Now for the second movie. Drum roll please.................................
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2
Welp, I just realized how ridiculously long that movie title is. Hmmmm.

Now, before we get any farther and all of you start to judge me or disregard the rest of this post, let me share some background with you so you can get a better feeling of where exactly I stand.

One, I am fully obsessed with Harry Potter.
Two, I have read and enjoyed all of The Twilight books multiple times.
Three, my loyalties still stand with Harry Potter.
Four, I have gone to every single midnight premiere for the Twilight movies.
Five, I love to make fun of the movies.
Six, I kind of sort of like the movies a little bit.
Seven, I HATE KRISTEN STEWART. SHE IS A HORRIBLE ACTRESS.

Ok, I think that provides enough background for you. As much as I like the Twilight movies, I still think they are incredibly ridiculous and awful and I love to point out their flaws and make fun of Kstew's horrible acting. HOWEVER, the last movie of the series is AMAZING. And y'all know I'm super picky about my movies but I absolutely loved the last one. It stays true to the book so well, except for a little surprise twist, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It was so good I didn't even notice that Kristen Stewart is a bad actress, I actually kind of liked her a little bit in the movie. But just a little I swear. This movie really is the greatest movie of all of the other movies, and I HATED this part in the books. It was one of my least favorite parts because of reasons I cannot explain without ruining the movie for many people. Anyways... For those of you who haven't read the book, here's a little run down of what happens.
Bella is now a vampire and the Volturi are after The Cullen's because they think they have created an immortal child (which is illegal). So the Cullen's set out to find friends (vampire friends of course) who will stand witness against the Volturi (and possibly fight) to prove that Bella and Edward's child Renesmee is an actually child, not an immortal child.
That pretty much sums up the entire movie. It doesn't sound like much, but trust me it is.

Well that's pretty much it for now.
Bye.
