HOORAH!

Good news everyone! I Think I've finally figured all of this new stuff out on Blogger so I will not be quitting! [Everybody say "YAY!"] Yay!

So anyways. Some more exciting news... I'm filling out an application for Seventeen's Freshman 15! It would be so cool if I got to be one of their bloggers! Like a dream come true! So wish me luck guys!

I promise I'll start blogging more now that it's summer because not only will I have TIME to blog, but I'll have time to watch movies!

I've had time lately honestly, but I've been using all that time to watch Modern Family. I just got into that show three days ago and I'm already halfway through the second season. It's honestly the best show ever and I can't believe I'm just now getting into it. I want to kick myself for the next three years because I missed three years of awesomeness.

Well this just distracted me, so I better get back to my application!

Peace Out Kids!

Deeeeelish

So I guess the blogoshpere hates me because they decided to change everything up on me, and it really kind of pisses me off. Because.... I don't know how to change half of the things on my profile. So I wanted to let you know that I've now seen 69 movies out of 1001. (:

But since it's not letting me change that. I don't know what I'm going to do. This blog kind of sucks now.

I'm totally unmotivated to continue this blog because everything is so different and I don't feel like relearning everything at the moment.

Maybe I'll keep blogging. But I'm not sure. Right now I'm too pissed to blog.

I was going to tell you not to watch Delicatessen because it sucks, that's the latest movie I saw, Be Tee Dub.

Peace Out Kids.

I Want to Go to Europe!!!!

I'm a bit if a sucker for a cutesy romance movie, not gonna lie. It doesn't matter what the age audience it's supposed to appeal to, it will get me every time. I'm just a hopeless romantic like that.

One such movie in particular is monte Carlo starring Leighton Meester, Selena Gomez, and Katie Cassidy. It was a really cute movie actually! I really kinda liked it a lot.

I think Leighton Meester's character Meg was my favorite. But I also love Laightob Meester. I use to live Selena Gomez until she turned lesbian and started dating Justin Beiber! Bleh Puke.

Basically, these three girls go to Monte Carlo and meet Emma's (Selena) look alike. Time and time again, Emma is mistaken for this celebrity and is forced to go in her place around Europe to promote this auction.

Basically the movie is The Lizzie McGuire Movie in steroids. Just sayin'. But it was still really good.

So go see it!

Spring Busy

I swear, I jinx everything, literally. I have jinxed practically everything this week. For example, yesterday at the rodeo, this guy I really wanted to win tie-down had a great shot of winning, but I said, "Watch, he'll probably miss the calf when he tries to rope him..." and he did...

I also said earlier that all spring break I was going to watch a ton of movies, and relax and tan and so forth...

I've done none of that.

This has been the busiest Spring Break EVER. Bu that's OK, because today was all about movies. Me and my sister have been watching movies all day. (And for me last night too).

First things first, No Strings Attached. Definitely one of my new favorite movies. It had Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher. OMG I LOVE ASHTON.

The movie was actually really cute though. It had a really cute romantic storyline. All I can say is that I want to find Ashton's character in real life because he is Mr. Perfect, literally.

Next, me and my sister went to go see The Lorax this morning. It was sooo good. I love the Lorax by Dr. Suess, but the movie version was amazing. The same people that did Despicable Me did this movie and it was great. It really embodied everything and more that Dr. Suess tried to teach kids by writing that story.

OK- Last movie for now... The Kids Are Alright.
So Hunger Games comes out Thursday and my sister wants to watch all the movies with Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence in them. This movie was one of them. Not a big fan of the whole lesbian family portrayal, but it was a good movie overall, not that I ever plan on seeing it again, but at least I can say that I've seen it. It definitely Had the same feel as most of the movies out there with all these awards, which is probably why it got so many nods and awards. But like I said, not my cup of tea. And it probably should've been rated NC-17 or X, R is a little generous. But yea, that's all for now.

Peace Out Kids.

Wayyyy Cool

Netflix is getting awesome! Correction: more awesome than it already was!!!

It just released a ton of documentaries by CNBC and they're actually really neat. I just watched one about McDonald's called Big Mac: Inside McDonald's. Not only did it show the good aspects of McDonald's but the bad aspects as well. I learned a lot of cool things too!

Did you know that McDonald's has a head chef? Yep! He and other chefs are constantly inventing new things to go on the menu! So cool!

If you have time, check out these documentaries, they're only 45 minutes long! (:

Being Famous

Before I get started, I wanted to clarify a few things. Just like J.K. Rowling did in the The Goblet of Fire when Hermione told Krum how to pronounce her name!

Many people ask me, "You only want to see 1001 movies?" or "You haven't seen 1001 movies yet?"
People seem to think that this blog is the quest to see ANY 1001 movies before I die, but that is NOT the case.

Trust me, I've seen many more than 1001 movies already, just look at my Netflix account for proof...
This is the quest to see a specific 1001 movies before I die. I SPECIFICALLY want to the the 1001 movies that are in the book: 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die.

Now is everything crystal clear? Or do you need to clean your screen with some Windex?

Now time for the good stuff.

Another actress that I really want to see all of her movies is Sandra Bullock. Let's see how I'm doing so far, shall we?
  • The Blind Side (4 Stars)
  • The Proposal (5 Stars)
  • All About Steve (2 Stars)
  • Miss Congeniality 2 (3 Stars)
  • Two Weeks Notice (4 Stars)
  • Miss Congeniality (5 Stars)
  • Lisa Picard is Famous (1 Star)
  • Practical Magic (4 Stars)
  • Hope Float (3 Stars)
That would mean I've seen 9 of the 42 movies Netflix lists her in. That's almost as pathetic as the number of Meryl Streep movies I've seen. That's 20 % of her movies...

Of course, just because she's in a movie doesn't mean she's actually "in" it...

For example, last night me and my sister watched Lisa Picard is Famous... She was "in" it for about 10 minutes.

This movie LPF (as I will shorten it) is a mockumentary. This is my first experience with a mockumentary. I didn't like the movie at all, obviously. The whole time I thought it was a documentary, before I was on Netflix that it was a fake, but then I was a bit relieved.

This movie follows the life of Lisa Picard and her best friend Tate as they travel on the long hard road to becoming famous. The documentarian is constantly asking people if they think Lisa will cut it, when she very obviously does not have what it takes to become an actress, but they of course, always say yes. The whole movie is basically making fun of the millions of people who think they have what it takes to become the next big thing, when in reality, they are nothing close to it.

It features a lot of celebrity cameos, with the likes of such, including, Charlie Sheen, Spike Lee, and of course, Sandra Bullock.

Her part in the film was actually one f the funniest parts. Lisa and Tate ran into her at a US store and start talking to her like they've known her their whole life. Poor Sandra, so confused, but pretends to know them, she even let's the documentarian interview her for a bit. But her 15 minutes of fame in that movie did not make it worth it to sit through the whole thing. So please don't waste your time. This is your final warning.

Oh, and I hope you all know that my translation for Spring Break is Non-stop movies and blogging, so keep up with my posts or you'll be very behind and might miss something important! (;

Enjoy the break while it lasts, and watch more movies!!!

Peace Out Kids.

Ok - weird.

Haha so I just got done watching Winter's bone with Jennifer Lawrence. She's the main reason me and my sister watched it. My sister is freakishly obsessed with her just because she plays Katniss in the Hunger games.

Don't get me wrong, I love Jennifer Lawrence, but this movie was no bueno.

Don't watch it. Honestly.

I'm giving it two stars.

Jennifer received an Oscar for her role making her the second youngest person to win. It was much deserved, honestly, she's an amazing actress in the film.

But the movie was awful. I got so bored halfway through it I started doing random stuff, like painting my toes and getting on pinterest.

It's about a girl searching for her drug maker father so she can support her family, but it's violent and hick and weird... Everyone she meets is related to her somehow. That southern backwoods thing I guess.. Except northern in like wisconsin or something. I don't know...

Well anyways...
